Rattle That Lock (Deluxe Edition) CD+DVD

Rattle That Lock (Deluxe Edition)

There is also a Bluray edition and a single CD version. The deluxe package offers some extras and isn't a bad little package. Main gripe is the box lacks the album name on the spines and the top and bottom edges, so identifying this on a shelf will be a problem.

This is a pretty fantastic album "besides the title track" and tbh i am unsure why they chose Rattle That Lock to be the title track or why its been used to plug the album. There are much better tracks on the album.

Odd Notes:
The whole album has as unusual yet nice feel to it, lot of really old school stuff very reminiscent to  the probate days along with the type of stuff that would of no doubt once been performed on his boat back when it was in use as a boat. Jools hollands possible influence along with daves love of old school blues really does give this album a nice feel. I also get a real feel of the beatles in some places, even a moment during Five AM where part of it almost sounded like the melody from "Eternal Flame" then suddenly felt like "The Long and Winding Road"  (to be updated)
