THE PLACE
Potsdamer Platz sat between the two Berlin Wall's which divided the city for decades people had died trying to escape from communism to capitalism. In 1990, this extraordinary concert would open up this historic landmark.

This epic production is now brought to life on DVD. Digitally Remastered, With 5.1 Surround Sound & Exclusive Liner Notes. This disc also includes a new documentary, set & character designs, animations & previously unreleased footage.

My Notes:

 The 12 page booklet is nice & the bonus content on the dvd is also pretty good. There is  lots of content from gallery's of set, stage and character design, also full screen animations with no sound that were projected onto the wall during the concert. Not many may realize but the keyboard player in "The Bleeding Heart Band" was Nick Glennie-Smith, he's a film composer who did the music for "Highlander 4 End Game" 
This dvd has also been released in a slide case with 2 CD's along with the dvd (see alternate packaging below for images of that set)
